Abuse and legal requests

Reporting abuse

If traffic from a ZoneBlade address is attacking, spamming or otherwise harming you, email abuse@zoneblade.com. Please include:

• the IP address it came from;
• the date and time, with the time zone;
• what happened, and the logs or headers that show it.

We read every report. Using ZoneBlade for abuse breaks our terms, and we can slow, suspend or close access, and block sites used for attacks or illegal content.

What we can and can't tell from a report

ZoneBlade doesn't keep a record of the sites people visit, so an IP address and a time can't be matched to a person or an account. Many people share each address. What we can do is block a site or a pattern of traffic for everyone, and act on an account when a report identifies one.

Requests from police and courts

We respond to valid legal requests made under UK law. Send them to abuse@zoneblade.com, or by post to the address below. What we can provide is limited to what we keep, listed on the privacy page:

• for an account: its email address, its devices and when they were last used;
• for a Premium subscription: its billing records;
• how much data an account's devices used, by country and day.

We have no records of sites visited, page addresses or traffic content, so we can't provide them.

Copyright notices

ZoneBlade doesn't host or store anyone's content, so there's nothing for us to take down. Send notices about content to the site that hosts it.
